Ziya’s long road from his humble beginning in Istanbul, Turkey to the Big Apple before coming to Georgetown Aveda. Ziya was born and raised in Istanbul where he received his basic training in cutting men and women’s hair. At the Bensimon Salon in Brooklyn, he developed his color and styling skills. During President Bush’s administration, Ziya was the stylist to Mrs. Bush and her two daughters. He specializes in Color, Balayage, and Highlights. Ziya said that he is happy to have found a home where he can showcase his talent and work his magic.
