Akeya’s path to beauty and wellness blossomed from a lifelong love of art in its many forms. She received her education as an esthetician at The Aveda Institute, Washington DC, and has been in the beauty industry for over 11 years. She aspires to assist in establishing an unwavering confidence in her clients’ esthetic standards through enlightenment and open communication. Akeya believes that as a skilled esthetician, inspiration and efficiency go hand-in-hand when providing a professional and positive experience for her guests. Her goal is to provide customized, relaxing and effective pain-management techniques in a safe and trusting space. She also feels a true sense of empowerment is discovered through continued creativity, education, and exploration of the skills we are most passionate about. For Akeya, the ultimate reward is witnessing others become inspired, and equally passionate about creating an optimal and sustainable plan for their personal skin health and wellness journey! Akeya is truly passionate about astrology, poetry and creating health-conscious, new, exciting, plant-based and beautifully creative dishes/food.
